HLTAID012 First Aid Course Details

The  certificate contains the units:

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
  • Course Schedule: We offer various times and dates to accommodate your busy schedule.
  • Course Duration: Our course combines online learning with a face-to-face assessment, including at least 1 hour of in-person training.
  • Participant Requirements: All participants should be physically capable of performing practical demonstrations, including 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.
  • Preparation: Depending on the course delivery mode, students may be required to complete online pre-course work. You’ll need access to a computer, smartphone, tablet, or similar device with internet access for any first aid courses online or pre-course studies.
  • Assessment: The course includes both written and practical assessment tasks to ensure your proficiency.
  • Certificate Renewal: Please note that certificates will need to be renewed after 36 months.

Enrolment for this course is processed through Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909). For comprehensive information about your rights and responsibilities, including complaints and appeals, please refer to the student handbook available on the RTO website here.

Throughout the course, you’ll engage in various performance tasks and practical scenarios, ensuring your competence in a wide range of situations. These include CPR for adults, children, and infants, managing casualties with anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, nosebleeds, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, and envenomation (e.g., snake or funnel-web spider bites)

What to bring

Keep things comfortable by wearing suitable clothing. And don’t forget to bring a valid form of identification, such as a Driver’s License, Passport, Photo I.D. Card, or Student Card.

Cancellation/Re-scheduling/Refunds/Privacy

All booking cancellations or re-scheduling requests will incur a $40.00 fee. For cancellations or re-scheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full course fee may be charged, including no-shows. In the event of an accidental booking mistake, we offer re-scheduling or refund options as applicable. Your privacy is paramount to us, and we will never share your personal information with any third parties.
